Our Sound Lounges are embedded with speakers (transducers). These speakers produce low-frequency vibrations that are synchronised with calming music or sound frequencies created by our founder Katherine. The vibrations are transmitted through the body and ears, stimulating the sensory nervous system and inducing a deep sense of relaxation.

We recently added the Vibroacoustic Sound Therapy bed at Earth & Skin, and it is unlike anything I’ve ever tried before. We brought the Sonata Sound bed and we live in Canterbury NZ. We did not try the bed out before purchasing however we felt it would be of help. Since I’ve been on my sonata sound lounge I have noticed less body fluid buildup , my mind is clearer and my nervous system is slowly healing , it feels so wonderful to just peace out for a while , great for meditation , completely zones you out . The aspect about the Sound Lounge that we loved so much was how much our clients loved it. There is always a little cautionary appraoch to saying we have a low-frequency mattress for them to enjoy, but once they are on it, they melt and are always ready for it at the next appointment.
Our practitioners were able to understand how to work it so easily when Will installed it and there may have been a few after hour lay downs.
