Your VibroSound Lounge and Portable Cushions are designed for long-lasting use. To keep them in excellent condition — and to maintain warranty coverage — please follow these care and cleaning guidelines.

Upholstery (Vinyl Surfaces)

Regular Cleaning

Wipe weekly or fortnightly with a sponge/cloth using warm soapy water. Dry with a clean cloth. A soft natural bristle brush can help remove grime from the vinyl grain.

Difficult Stains

Use a 50:50 solution of methylated spirits and water.

Rub gently, then clean again with warm soapy water to remove residue.

Do Not Use

• Alcohol-based cleaners
• Detergents
• Leather or PVC preservatives
• Abrasive cleaners or cloths
• Citrus oils (orange, lemon, eucalyptus, limonene, tea tree)
• Any chemical or solvent-based cleaners
  
  These products can damage the vinyl, causing hardening, blistering, or splitting — and will void the warranty.
  

Important

Always wipe down after cleaning with a damp cloth soaked in fresh water to neutralize chemical residue.

Hardening of PVC from improper cleaning is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Commercial Use

We recommend using washable or disposable covers to extend the life of the vinyl.

Headphones

• If sharing headphones, always use washable or disposable covers.
  
• Refer to the specific headphone manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning.

Electrical Equipment (Amplifier, Transducers & Leads)

• Wipe with a damp cloth only.
  
• Never immerse in water.
  
• Refer to amplifier’s product guide for detailed care instructions.
  

Disinfection

• The gentlest effective disinfectant for vinyl upholstery is household bleach (sodium hypochlorite).
  
• Use a solution of 26ml of bleach (4% chlorine) mixed with 1 litre of water.
  
• Apply and leave on surfaces for 10 minutes before wiping off.
  
• Do not use undiluted bleach.

General Care Tips

• Keep products indoors only and out of direct sunlight.
  
• Do not place sharp or metallic objects on or near upholstery.
  
• Always ensure cables are secured out of reach to prevent damage.
  
• Never immerse VibroSound products in water.

Why This Matters

Proper care not only extends the life of your VibroSound Lounge or Cushion but also ensures your warranty remains valid. Damage caused by incorrect cleaning methods, unsuitable products, or neglect is not covered under warranty.
