Experiencing VibroAcoustic Music

Ingredients: 100% Sound. Australian Made.

"I've never experienced anything like that before!"

I've heard this hundreds of times when people finish their first Vibro Acoustic Sound Lounge experience. VibroAcoustic music represents the fusion of sound and vibration, offering a new way to experience therapeutic sounds and music.

The magic lies in the low frequency sound waves that are used in the sound track to physically resonate the body. These are actual sound frequencies that you feel coming from a transducer (speaker) embedded into our Sound Lounge or Portable Device. People often think the sounds from the headphones and the vibrations in the Sound Lounge are two different parts but make no mistake, if you pay attention you can feel the crashing waves in our track, Healing Power of the Ocean.

For example the sound of a didgeridoo has a wide range of frequencies and a lot of bass, making it great for VibroAcoustic music. When the didgeridoo is recorded and played through the Sound Lounge you can feel all the vibrations through your body as if you were right next to you. These vibrations resonate deep into your muscles, bones, tissues and cells and have therapeutic effects which we'll explain more below.

Its Nothing Without The Music.

All of our Vibro Acoustic music is composed by our owner and founder Katherine (Katie) Jameson. Katie will never say this to your face but she was number 1 in the state for music in her final year of high school, needless to say she is a fantastic composer, pianist and clarinetist. You can check out her classical compositions on Spotify or Apple Music under 'Piano Jane' you'll undoubtedly become a fan.

Even our nature sounds are recorded by William Kane-Potaka (Owner) who is a multi-instrumentalist and audio engineer. He goes beyond the studio, venturing into diverse natural landscapes to capture high-quality environmental sounds. These field recordings are an integral part of our soundtracks, providing an immersive, organic layer that enhances the listening experience.

To craft a truly high-quality Vibroacoustic experience, we blend these elements using advanced audio software and a variety of techniques. Our process involves layering frequencies, incorporating therapeutic sound waves, and adjusting audio dynamics to ensure that each track not only sounds beautiful but also resonates at a deep, vibrational level to support healing and relaxation.

Stress Is Not An Option.

Perhaps the most important component of our VibroAcoustic devices are their effect on the Vagus Nerve. The vagus nerve is the largest nerve in the body and plays a vital role in maintaining homeostasis and overall health by connecting the brain to essential bodily functions.
.
When low-frequency sound is applied to the body, it activates our relaxation response. When our relaxation response is ON that means our stress response is OFF. In this state our energy is being directed toward repairing tissues and regenerating organs. In a stress response our 'energy' is being used to power organs for 'fight or flight' functions like lifting and running.
We all know about the amazing benefits of meditation but many struggle with the time and training required to achieve a deep state of relaxation. With our devices this is more easily attainable because relaxation is the only option.
Given that chronic stress is often linked to various health issues, incorporating vibroacoustic sound-based stress regulation can be a simple yet powerful way to support faster recovery, reduce strain on the heart and organs, and enhance overall well-being. (Sensors Journal, 2024)

Other Benefits: Unlocking the Full Potential of VibroAcoustic Therapy.

VibroAcoustic Therapy (VAT) does more than just relax your mind—it actively engages your body in a deep and transformative healing process. The benefits of this unique therapy extend across physical, emotional, and mental health, offering a holistic approach to wellness.
.
Pain Relief and Inflammation Reduction.
VAT is particularly effective in alleviating pain and reducing inflammation. The low-frequency vibrations stimulate the body’s natural pain-relief mechanisms by increasing blood flow and releasing endorphins. Studies suggest that these frequencies can target and soothe inflamed tissues, making VAT an excellent option for individuals with chronic pain or conditions like arthritis.
.
Boosted Circulation and Cellular Health.
The gentle vibrations promote improved circulation, ensuring that oxygen and nutrients are delivered more efficiently to tissues and organs. This not only accelerates healing but also optimizes cellular function, helping your body repair and regenerate at a deeper level.
.
Vagus Nerve Stimulation and Stress Relief.
One of the standout benefits of VAT is its ability to stimulate the vagus nerve, which plays a crucial role in regulating the parasympathetic nervous system. This stimulation enhances the relaxation response, helping to counteract stress and its negative effects. Over time, consistent use can lead to lower stress levels and a stronger, more resilient nervous system.
.
Deep Relaxation and Better Sleep.
VAT creates a state of profound relaxation, making it easier to let go of mental tension and physical stress. By calming the nervous system and slowing the mind, VAT promotes restorative sleep, helping you wake up feeling refreshed and recharged. For those struggling with insomnia or restless nights, it’s a game-changer.
.
Emerging Scientific Backing.
The scientific interest in VibroAcoustic Therapy is growing rapidly, with new peer-reviewed studies published each year. Research has shown positive outcomes in areas ranging from chronic pain management to mental health, making VAT a promising complement to conventional therapies. Some studies even explore its potential in reducing symptoms of PTSD and anxiety, showcasing its versatility.
As we continue to explore and innovate in the field of sound therapy, the possibilities are endless. VAT not only empowers the body to heal itself but also provides a deeply soothing and enjoyable experience. It’s more than therapy—it’s a journey toward a healthier, more balanced you.
